These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MonitorWorld mobile application ("App") and the website at worldmonitor.app, operated by MonitorWorld ("we", "our", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Description

MonitorWorld is a real-time global intelligence platform that provides:

• Interactive World Map: Real-time visualization of global incidents, conflicts, and geopolitical events
• AI News Aggregation: Automated collection and analysis of news from 435+ verified feeds across 195+ countries
• Conflict Tracking: Monitoring of active conflicts worldwide with severity ratings and contextual analysis
• Smart Alerts: Personalized, priority-ranked notifications based on your selected regions and interests with cross-stream correlation

2. Subscriptions

2.1 Free and Premium Tiers

MonitorWorld offers both free and premium access. The free tier provides basic access to the global map and limited alerts. Premium subscribers ("MonitorWorld Premium") receive full access to all features including real-time push alerts, unlimited region monitoring, AI cross-correlation, and source deep-links.

2.2 Billing and Renewal

Premium subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.

2.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings or the App Store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods.

3. Information Disclaimer

Important: The information provided by MonitorWorld is aggregated from publicly available sources and is provided for informational purposes only. Specifically:

• News and intelligence data are sourced from third-party feeds and may contain inaccuracies or delays
• Conflict severity ratings and assessments are algorithmically generated and should not be treated as definitive
• MonitorWorld does not provide official government advisories and should not replace official travel or security guidance
• AI-powered analysis and correlation may produce errors due to the nature of automated processing
• We do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of any information displayed

We recommend using MonitorWorld as a supplementary awareness tool alongside official sources and professional advice.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for its intended purposes. You shall not:

• Use the App or its data for any illegal purpose or to facilitate illegal activity
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract data from the App for commercial use
• Use the App to develop competing products or services
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent subscription requirements
• Use automated systems or bots to interact with the App
• Share or resell your account credentials
• Redistribute or republish App content without attribution

5. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, code, and original content, is owned by MonitorWorld and protected by intellectual property laws. Aggregated news content remains the property of its respective publishers and is displayed under fair use for informational purposes with attribution and source links.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
• We are not liable for any decisions made based on information provided by the App
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim

7. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

8. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any part of it at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
